About

Foundations For Living began in 2002 with a dream and a vision between two sisters – Lynda Babino and Robin Madson. Lynda’s dream was to help and support victims of domestic abuse, and Robin’s vision to create opportunities for Churches to do mission work in their own back yard. On November 20, 2011, Foundations For Living, Inc. (FFL) was approved as a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency and it was then that Lynda’s dream and Robin’s vision became a reality.

In 2012 FFL served over 30 men and women and established four transitional living facilities in Waupaca providing safe and supportive housing for 7 men, 3 women, and 5 children.

In 2013  FFL served over 76 men and women and housed 11 men, 6 women and 8 children (with their mom’s). FFL also moved into it’s first office space in Ruby’s Pantry.

So far in 2014 FFL has 28 new clients and are currently housing 3 men, 5 women, and 1 family of 8.  FFL also out grew it’s office space at Ruby’s Pantry and moved into a new space that has space for individual offices, classrooms, space for a Clothes Closet and Care Closet.  FFL also started their furniture ministry F4L in 2014.
